Plural (พหูพจน์) noun is a noun that has a number of more than two. In this case, Samet is only one island, therefore we use "island" as a singular (เอกพจน์) noun (a noun that use for only one object). Also when you want to describe something that is done by yourself and another, you must include yourself (subject pronoun "I") in the last part of the subject (ประธานของประโยคที่มีตัวเรากับคนอื่น ๆ จะต้องใส่ประธาน I ไว้สุดท้ายเสมอ). For example: "My sister, my brother and I"
