Hello, I'm back! Although I'm pretty sure none of you really know me, haha. Today I'm going to tell you the event that I did on the 15th May in Germany. I went to Burghausen with my host family, but later I split up with the whole group because they have all been to Burghausen Castle; Burghausen Castle is know as the longest castle in Europe!!! It's length is 1043 m!!!
Alright, to the point, in the castle there is a museum so i decided to go and look what's inside the museum. It was simply amazing ^^ there were a bunch of art portraits, sculptures, pottery, models of the entire area of Burghausen Castle, the history of the castle, the vehicles (there's a carriage and even a steam engine powered car! so awesome!), war gear; knight's armor and weapons, even old muskets, rifles and pistols! It was like the best time I ever had because I love learning history and I get to see every single thing in the museum.
However, always remember, everything comes with a price...why? Because even though I get to visit this awesome museum...I was the only one in the entire museum... and that's not creepy enough, all the rooms of the museum have motion sensors for the lights in the exhibition rooms; which means that the rooms will be dark until you walk into the motion sensor's radius. What's even more, when I was walking alone in the museum...some rooms' lights opened itself...and I was the only one in the museum...even worse, I kept hearing sounds as I walk throughout the museum like laughter or footsteps, or even water running in the bathroom...even though I kept thinking that there must be someone in here too; probably the staff or other tourists, but that thought never came true. No matter where I went...there was only me.
However, in the end I managed to walk and look around the entire museum even though I was afraid...I love history and artifacts more than what I fear (haha). I still got my love for history and the guts to continue through out the museum because at least it was still in the morning (so relieved) if it was in the evening, I wouldn't even want to go in there haha...
The whole trip was awesome, yet scary...
