[email protected]I lived in Reconquista. Reconquista is a city in the SantaFe provine, it's located in the north of the province. It's medium city with a huge of population.
The weather here is quite nice in Autumn which is now, In summer it's hot but not about thailand, In winter it's FUCKING COLD, In spring I can't answer becoz I've been and past two seasons and now the winter is coming.
About thai AFS exchange student that had visited this city there're three exchage student from thailand, first was P'bew ARG45* (sorry if name I mentioned is wrong) second P'prim ARG47* and the third is me.
About daily life in Reconquista. First I would like to talk about my school Sanjose (it's the best school in the town jaja) the school is really nice everybody are friendly to me (everybody knows me jaja). School start from 8.00 in in the morning till 12.00 in the afternoon but in somedays you'll have to return to school in the evening for physical education (play sports), the times of this subject depends on which grade you're in.
Next is somethigs social. After school time everybody returns home for lunch this include the adults, all shops school etc will be close until late in the afternoon (open about 17.00). After lunch the adults will have a short nap (call siesta time) the kids also but some of them doesn't this depends on you want to have a nap or not, if you don't it's like a free time you can watch tv or surf internet etc. After siesta time most of the teenagers hang out with friends for example hang out in center (its a park where most of teenagers enjoy there free time (all cities in ARG does have a park) of the city or go to their friends houses (depend what you want). In the evening they've to return home for dinner with family.
About disco!!!. teenagers hang out for disgo in friday or saturday night or both (depends on family curfews and rules). Disco start at about 00.30 and last till about 06.00 (but you can leave when ever you want). After disco you'll have to return home for a nap and wake up for lunch with family in the afternoon. Lunch on sunday afternoon is family activity most of the family will invite their cousin or friends for B.B.Q. or etc.
About peoples and family. Most of the people here're really friendly : your friends, family and others, your family will really take good care of you its like they will give all they've got (if your're not in a bad family). Everybody often greets each other when they meet even they don't know each others. If you visit a medium or small city most of the proples in your city would probably recognize you. This is my personal opinion I loved meduim city more than big city becoz everyones are more friendly and it's easier to walk in the city from places to other places, it's not to crowdy and busy and you'll learn lots of cultures more than living in a big city which is more dangerous
About food in ARG. The meat here is really DELICIOUS also ice-cream, Dulce de Leche (this is REALLY DELICIOUS) and others, you probably gain your weight easily in first couples of months like me 55+ (AFS = Another Fat Students). You'll enjoy eating many knids of foods here which thailand doesn't exist.
I hope you'll have a chance to visit ARG, it's a one of the really great latin american country.
